I finished something! *gasp* I know *nods head* you thought it'd never happen...
Anywho: again, based on 'The Raven' by Edgar Allen Poe. Well... it began as something completely different, but Literature has a strong influence on me *shrugs*
--Prang watercolours (old skool!) and inks (not-quite-so-old skool!)--
Oh wow, the wings are really impressive, and the swirls are really pretty. Great job with the watercolors, too!
The only thing that looks a bit weird to me is her face; it seems to me as if the eyes are at different heights, and her mouth looks slightly off-center.
It doesn't distract from the overall loveliness of the picture, however. Again, beautiful job with the coloring.
I'm going to admit that her eyes are lopsided (I never noticed before...) and her lashes aren't as emphasized as I had wished, but it's still a lovely addition to your gallery ^.^ (and i just noticed the small little bird in her hair, nice comparison to the raven.)

I don't know, why this poem becamed so popular in last days...but many people draws picture influented by it... but deffinetly this is the best illustration which i saw...
